When you make bookings, we will be required to collect information from you. Here are the types of information that we will collect:​

4.2. Protecting Rights and Safety: we may share your Personal Account and/or Account Information if we believe in good faith that this will help protect the rights, property or personal safety of Sportzone, any of our Users, or any member of the general public, with or without notice to you.

5. Where do we store your 'Personal Information and/or Account Information, how long do we retain your data and when do we delete your data.

  1. Users’ Personal Information and/or Account Information will be stored in a data centre located in the United Kingdom.

  2. Users’ Personal Information and/or Account Information shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose. We will retain your personal data for a minimum period of 1 year following the expiry of your subscription/membership and / or purchase of any of our services.

 

6: Use of cookies

  1. A cookie is a small text file that is downloaded onto a computer or smartphone when the user accesses a website. It allows the website to store and retrieve information about how the device is using the website.

  2. The Sportzone website uses cookies and stored device data for the following purposes:

    • ​to ensure the correct technical functionality of the services we provide and optimise global performance - for example, to help you find the most relevant content and get that content to you quickly and accurately; to maintain website security, prevent website abuse and ensure legislative/regulatory compliance - for example, to prevent cyber-attacks; to compile, and enrich, internal business data regarding website traffic and activity - for example, to help us to understand our most popular website pages, visit sources and time-of-day traffic; to help to improve our services to you and better meet your future needs - for example, to understand your needs and preferences so as to improve your website experience.

  3. If at any point you wish to withdraw consent for the use of cookies, you can clear these from your browser by clearing your website history and configure your browser to block cookies. Some of our website features may not function correctly and/or you may not receive the best website experience if you disable/do not consent to the use of cookies.

  4. We use Adwords re-marketing to attract you back to our website with content that may be of interest to you. To do this we advertise using Google search and Google recommended websites. Google uses cookies to track your activity and show you adverts that may be of interest to you and they use this data to show you relevant messages. You are able to opt out of Google using cookies by visiting Google's Ads Settings or thirdparty vendors.

  5. We use the reCAPTCHA v3 service provided by Google Inc. (Google). This service checks if you are a person in order to prevent spam and abuse of our website. The service places a cookie on your computer that communicates information such as how many mouse clicks you have made, what other Google cookies you have on your computer and the language your browser is set to verify that you are a person, not a robot. Your use of reCAPTCHA v3 is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

 

7. Communication from Sportzone

  1. Promotional messages: We may use your Personal Information and/or Account Information to send you promotional content and messages by e-mail. If you do not wish to receive such promotional messages or calls, you may notify Sportzone at any time by contacting us directly.

  2. Service and billing messages: Sportzone may also contact you with important information regarding our Services, or your use thereof. For example, we may send you a notice (through any of the means available to us) if a certain Service is temporarily suspended for maintenance; reply to your e-mail; send you reminders or warnings regarding upcoming or late payments for your current or upcoming subscriptions; or notify you of material changes in our Services. It is important that you are always able to receive such messages. For this reason, you are not be able to opt-out of receiving such Service and Billing Messages unless you are no longer a Sportzone User.

 

8. Your rights in relation to your ‘Personal Information’ and/or 'Account Information'

  1. Sportzone agrees that it is imperative that you have control over your Personal Information and/or Account Information. Pursuant to privacy regulations worldwide, we are taking steps to enable you to request access to, receive a copy of, update, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Information and/or Account Information.

  2. Your principal rights under data protection law are:

    • the right to rectification;

    • the right to erasure;

    • the right to restrict processing;

    • the right to object to processing;

    • the right to data portability;

9. Public forums and user content

  1. Our Services may offer publicly accessible blogs, communities and support forums. Please be aware that any Personal Information you provide in any such areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. To request removal of your Personal Information from our blogs, communities or forums, feel free to contact us.

  2. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your Personal Information from such areas. For example, if you use a third party application to post a comment (e.g., a social media plugin application) while logged in to your related profile with such third party, you must login into such application or contact its provider if you want to remove the Personal Information you posted on that platform.
